CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – Carbondale Police say a man got out of an SUV Sunday afternoon, took aim at a house, and opened fire.

It happened at about 1:45 p.m. in the 400 block James and Thelma Walker Avenue. No one got hurt, but the property was damaged.

The suspect is only described by police as a black male driving a white SUV.
