ALTO PASS, Ill. (WJPF) — An anonymous donation will allow the caretakers of Bald Knob Cross to upgrade the landmark’s exterior lighting.

A recent gift of over $3,000 will be put towards new LED lights. Cross caretakers say the existing light fixtures will be sand-blasted, primed and repainted and the existing LED lights will be upgraded. 

The total project is expected to cost over $5,000.
