LAKE OF EGYPT, Ill. (WJPF) — A 76-year-old Ullin man drowned at the Lake of Egypt over the weekend.

It happened around 12:45 p.m. Saturday.

A preliminary investigation indicates that Bobby McIntosh was working on his boat at the dock when the boat floated away. McIntosh swam out to get the boat and then drowned.

The incident is still under investigation.
