Eldorado man charged in connection to Harrisburg Walmart fire

HARRISBURG, Ill. (WJPF) — An Eldorado man will appear in Saline County Court Friday to face charges that he intentionally set a fire at the Harrisburg Walmart.

James Curtis is charged with 1 felony count of arson, 3 felony counts of criminal damage to property, and 1 misdemeanor count of reckless conduct.

The December 31, 2019 fire resulted in over $100,000 dollars in damages to the store. No injuries were reported.
