BROOKPORT, Ill. (WJPF) — The body of a man found in the Ohio River in September of 2018 has been identified.

The body was found on the Kentucky side of the river near Brookport.

The deceased has now been identified as an 84-year-old Louisville man who was reported missing 9 days before his body was pulled from the river. His family has requested his name not be released.

Foul play is not suspected.
