No new charges have been filed related to the death of a 3-month-old infant who died earlier this week at a St. Louis hospital.

Williamson County State’s Attorney Brandon Zanotti stated in a news release the death is now being treated as a homicide investigation.

Zanotti is waiting on investigation reports before filing additional charges.

25-year-old Devin O’Daniel of Marion, the infant’s father, was arrested and charged with several battery offenses. He is currently being held on $1 million bond in the Williamson County Jail.
