33rd Annual Waltonville Veterans Day Parade

The 33rd Annual Waltonville Veterans Day Parade will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 10, 2018.  The parade will assemble at the VFW Post #9153 on the East side of town, will start at 10:00 AM, and will proceed thru town to the high school and grade school on the West side of town.  Participants can gather at the VFW Post #9153 at 8:00 AM or before to organize for the parade, no pre-registration is needed.  A program will be conducted at the high school gym, commencing near to 11:00 AM.  This year’s theme is “Make America Strong”.  Waltonville Mayor Randy Dees will conduct the program to honor our veterans which include guest speaker, John Walker-Lt. Commander, US Navy Retired.  The program will conclude with a 21 gun salute by the Waltonville VFW Post #9153 and AMVETS Post #148 Honor Squad followed by the playing of “Taps”.  A chili dinner will be provided at the Waltonville VFW Post #9153 following the program.
