When the “Forever SIU” fundraising campaign was launched January first of last year, school leaders hoped to raise $75 million dollars over three years.

One year in, they’ve raised $56.3 million or 75% of their goal.

According to a press release, roughly 5,000 donors have contributed. Chancellor Carlo Montemagno says it’s a sign of confidence in the university.
