Bost faces primary challenger

Preston Nelson

Congressman Mike Bost will have a republican challenger in the March primary.

Preston Nelson, a 27-year-old Benton resident, has filed the necessary paperwork to get his name on the ballot.

According to Nelson’s campaign website, he is a long-time libertarian activist and, if elected, he says he would propose legislation to abolish, or a the very least, reform a number of federal entities including the FDA and the Federal Reserve.

At 27-years-old, Nelson would be the youngest member of Congress.
