Students, faculty complain to Shawnee Community College board

The board of Shawnee Community College heard from faculty members and students yesterday, questioning decisions made by new college president Peggy Bradford.

Dozens turned out at the heated meeting. The board heard complains about the elimination of classes students need to complete degrees, and issues with the treatment of college staff – especially those not involved in a union.

Board members said they would need time to research and address the issues.
