The sound of fatigue was evident in Pat Benton's voice Friday morning only minutes after he signed off on his four-hour morning show on WUEZ-FM.
The Poshard Foundation: Working Collaboratively to Alleviate Child Abuse Just in time for the holiday season, Pat Benton, through his radio program on Magic 95.1, �Pat�s Kids,� pleaded with listeners to dig deep in their pockets and help children who might not get anything at Christmas. Through the radio appeal at WUEZ, a Carterville-based station that serves Southern Illinois, over $100,000 was raised. Benton, in turn, donated it to the Poshard Foundation for Abused Children.
