Pat is celebrating his 41st year in radio. It all started Oct. 2nd 1968 in Chicago, working part time at an all Spanish station (by the way I did NOT speak Spanish).
While in the Air Force I worked at a little radio in Biloxi, MS. While in Vietnam I got to help at Armed Forces Radio on Monkey Mountain, DaNang AFB. Then I moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska. After the service I worked my way through college by being the local Radio Bad Boy on KOLT.

Morning guy, then Sales Manager and finally General Manager.
The KATH radio group hired me as Corporate Operations Manager, and I traveled from station to station reformatting and working with the local "talent." I had a dream of becoming a professional actor so I moved to Jackson, Mississippi, to become Artistic Director for "The Little Theatre of Jackson." (The oldest theatre in Mississippi). An Actor in Mississippi can starve to death, so I kept working late nights and early mornings at WJQS.
I appeared in a few local films and qualified for a Screen Actors Guild card.
In 1978. got a gig teaching Radio/TV and Theatre Arts back in Scottsbluff, so I moved back to Nebraska and back to KOLT radio, this time as Morning host. I then transferred to Chadron State College and worked mornings while I taught radio/TV. Then I became the Station Manager of a new FM station that the Kath group started. I applied and was granted a Construction Permit for a new station, but before we got it built I moved to the Ozarks.
Worked as Morning Host for 2 years in West Plains, MO
I started the Heart of the Ozarks theatre company, where we specialized in radio drama. In 1988 I moved to Marion to become Morning Host for WDDD. In 1991 I moved to Owensboro, KY, to host mornings there. WDDD hired me to return, so I took WDDD to the top of the ratings and in 1992 I won the 1st ever Silver Dome Award for Best Air Personality in an Illinois Small Market
In 1994 I went to work for River Radio at Z100:
Hosting mornings on Z100. In 1999 I moved to talk radio at WJPF. In Sept. 2000 the MRR moved me to mornings at Magic 95.1. I Celebrate Life each weekday morning on Magic. I am married to a wonderful human being, Linda, the one true love of my life. We have 6 kids between us, Jeff, Kelley, Loring, Amy, Stephen and Samantha. The Lord has so far blessed us with 3 wonderful Grandkids, Lane, Wade and Gracieanna.
I love radio and I thrive on Morning radio...
I can't believe they pay me to come in here and play.
