CARBONDALE, IL. (WJPF) – Protesters gathered outside of the Carbondale Civic Center Tuesday night to voice their disapproval of President Trump’s scheduled rally Saturday.

The peaceful crowd had hoped to make their position heard to members of the Carbondale City Council, but Tuesday night’s scheduled meeting was cancelled when rumor of a possible protest spread throughout the community.
