A Randolph County man, who had pleaded guilty to sexual assault charges, has committed suicide before sentencing.

42-year-old Timothy Rushing was found dead in his home June 1, 2018 by police after he was a no show for a court appearance.

Rushing was facing up to 15 years in prison.
