A Texas man will spend the next three years in an Illinois prison after pleading guilty to a single felony robbery charge.

According to the Williamson County State’s Attorney’s Office, 37-year-old Cameron Adams, of Fresno Texas, threatened another person at gunpoint and them robbed them at Marion hotel in December of last year.

Adams fled, but police soon spotted in his vehicle traveling on Route 13. He was arrested after brief motor-vehicle and foot chases.
