A Cambria man is in jail  after police say he stabbed a man in Herrin.

According to a press release from the Herrin Police Department, 37 year old Curtis Holland was arrested early Sunday morning near the Mach One Gas Station on North Park Avenue.

Once officers arrived at the scene, they found one man with a stab wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Holland was arrested for Aggravated Battery. At the time of the crime, Holland also had an outstanding arrest warrant.
